This Payment Policy explains the accepted payment methods, pricing transparency, and payment processing conditions when purchasing from True North Mode.

All payments are processed through Shopify Payments and authorized third-party payment providers. All transactions are subject to verification and authorization by the relevant payment provider.
Currency
All prices on our website are displayed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.
Payments will be charged in CAD at the time of purchase.
If your card issuer operates in a different currency, exchange rates and possible foreign transaction fees are determined by your financial institution. True North Mode is not responsible for such additional charges.
Pricing & Taxes
All prices displayed on our website include applicable taxes in accordance with Canadian regulations unless otherwise stated.
There are no hidden charges. The total amount payable is clearly displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.
We reserve the right to update pricing at any time. However, price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed and paid.
Payment Security
All transactions are processed using secure encryption technologies (SSL) and trusted third-party payment processors.
True North Mode does not store, process, or have direct access to full payment card details.
Payment data is handled securely in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR and applicable Canadian privacy legislation.
Payment Confirmation
Once your payment has been successfully authorized, you will receive an order confirmation email containing your order details.
Orders are not processed or shipped until payment has been successfully completed and authorized.

Failed or Declined Payments
If a payment is declined or fails authorization, the order will not be processed and no charges will be captured.
Customers are encouraged to contact their payment provider or bank for further information.
True North Mode is not responsible for declined transactions caused by insufficient funds, bank restrictions, or security blocks.
Fraud Prevention & Verification
To protect customers and the business from fraudulent transactions, we reserve the right to perform security and identity verification checks, request additional documentation if necessary, and delay, refuse, or cancel orders suspected of fraudulent activity.
If suspicious activity is detected, an order may be temporarily placed on hold while verification is completed.
If an order is canceled due to suspected fraud, any captured payment will be refunded to the original payment method.
Chargebacks
If a customer initiates a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback and provide proof of transaction, delivery confirmation, and customer communication.
